Composed of recycled brick and blackbutt timber, this freestanding cottage in Sydney’s Inner West has been rebuilt to create new and flexible living spaces across two levels and open up to the north facing rear yard.
Carefully designed to provide privacy and to frame views to and from the house and yard, the stairwell forms a light-well in the centre of the home to balance the light throughout.
